However, there is one detail that you will want to ensure that you plan to perfection, and that would be your seating chart! Are you aware of how to go about seating your own wedding guests?
We understand how important it is to seat your guests properly! Thatβs why, here at Zeffert & Gold Catering, we have gathered some advice for seating guests at your own wedding reception. If you are all set to gain some great insight, be sure to continue reading:
- Newlyweds. Sitting at your own wedding sweetheart table is certainly ideal! After all, you are the shining stars on your big day, and your guests should be able to easily locate you within your wedding reception. However, if you would rather sit with others, it would be best to do so with your bridal party. Either way, your bridal party should all be seated together.
- Parents. If you parents are together, or if they still get along with one another, they should certainly be seated together, along with your partnerβs parents. However, if this would pose as a problem, seat them separately, but with immediate family members, such as children or siblings.
- Singles. There will most likely be an array of single guests attending your big day. However, you should avoid grouping them all together at one table (as doing so could cause them to feel incredibly awkward!). Instead, you can play match-maker by placing a couple single guests at each table.
- Children. Will you be having a kid-friendly wedding? If so, know that children have a hard time staying seated and entertained. But, if you create a table just for the kids, filled with coloring books and crayons, activity books, and glowsticks, they can enjoy their seats as they will be thoroughly entertained.
Seating your wedding guests doesnβt have to be a daunting task! In fact, if you utilize these tips, you can seat yours with ease.
