Wedding favors are a great way to say to your guests, “Thanks for coming to our big day” where they can think back at how much fun they had. Zeffert & Gold has seen some pretty clever wedding favors; all of which are unique to fit the wedding style and couple’s personalities. So we have put together a list of our favorite wedding favor ideas which you can add your own twist to so that your guests can take a little piece of your special day with them.

1. Customized jam or other type of spread
This favor is great because the label ties in with any wedding theme and you can completely customize the text and design. What guest doesn’t like bringing home yummy treats, plus the saying, “Spread the Love” is perfect for anyone’s special day. You could use this idea for jams, any type of nut butter, sauces, and so much more.

2. Sparklers with Matches
This is a great way for guests to send off the happy couple after the reception, especially if it is an evening wedding. The label is also customized and our personal favorite says, “Thanks for lighting up our night” with the couple’s name and wedding date. Sparkler farewells are inexpensive and create a magical experience for both guests and the couple.

3. Spice bag based on where the couple is from
As you can tell, Zeffert and Gold is all about customizing small details that share the couple’s story and personalities. The other weekend, we had a couple who started their journey together in Baltimore, so on each table the bride and groom set out individual Old Bay cartons and a personalized hammer of their names and wedding date. It was held together with a ribbon and was the perfect touch to accent the great city of Baltimore. The spice idea is great because you can incorporate the cities that represent the couple or where each of them was  from. This picture above shows Old Bay for Baltimore and Hot Sauce for California where the bride and groom each grew up.

4. Personalized Koozie Favor
Weddings are great, but weddings stocked with alcohol is definitely a plus for guests to have fun and let loose on the dance floor. Koozie’s are completely customizable and guests can use them throughout the night. This saying was one of our favorites and really tied in all elements of a well-stocked wedding.

5. Personalized CD’s
This was one of the more unique favors that we came across and allows the couple to add songs that were played at their wedding for guests to listen to after the event. You can add the couple’s first dance, classic dancing songs, a little bit of the old and the new so that guests can listen and think back at how much fun the day was.

There you have it – Zeffert & Gold’s list of the most creative wedding favors. Of course we have seen some amazing and detailed wedding favors over the years, but the list would be 10 miles long if we could add them all.  You can get as personalized or as detailed as you want, so we hope this sparked some great ideas for your upcoming wedding or event (remember favors can be for other types of events too.) Wedding Favors are great touches that cap off the end of the night, and allow guests to take home a little piece of your special day!
