The Baltimore Museum of Industry in Baltimore was a hit for Zeffert and Gold this weekend. This past Sunday, Zeffert and Gold helped create a music themed wedding for Melissa and Tim. Music and live concerts have been a special part of Tim and Melissa’s life so they wanted center their theme around music. Small details came together to create a big impact on their special day.

Instead of using table numbers, the couple used music records that said, “Melissa and Tim’s Greatest Hits” and customized cassette holders for each guest to find their table. Tim and Melissa also made a card holder out of their favorite bands album covers on the gift table. To top off their music theme, the couple invited their favorite band, The Bridge to play live at their wedding. The Bridge is one of Baltimore’s most successful bands who have toured all over the world. They rocked the crowd all night and everybody danced and sang along to their most popular songs.

Melissa and Tim got married on the museum’s patio overlooking the inner harbor. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour was in the front exhibit area with an open bar and delicious hors d’oeurves. Stationary appetizers included hot Maryland crab dip, Natty Boh cheddar cheese fondue (the grooms favorite), sweet and sour meatballs and an antipasto platter. Passed hors d’oeurves included buffalo chicken wontons with a bleu cheese sauce, harvest canapé of granny smith apples, smoked mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions, root beer BBQ pork sliders, shrimp tostada with a mango salsa, and sirloin wrapped asparagus spears.

For dinner, the couple had three different food stations including a pasta bar, a carvery of marinated flank steak and turkey breast, and a San Antonio Fiesta station of tequila lime chicken and tortilla crusted tilapia with sweet habanero aioli accompanied by corn and black bean salsa.

Melissa and Tim incorporated his and her drinks as well. The groom’s drink was called, “Grateful Dead”-a play on another one of his favorite bands and Melissa’s signature drink was called “Purple Raven.”

Melissa and Tim were a true pleasure to work with and their wedding was a lot of fun to plan. We wish them love, happiness, and many more live concerts to come! Congrats!
