Although winter may have lingered a bit too long this year, spring has finally sprung and wedding season is in full swing. This past weekend we had the pleasure of catering Beth and Brady’s wedding that took place in Historic London Town, in Annapolis, Maryland. A breathtaking waterfront venue, accompanied by ideal, warm, Baltimore spring weather made for the perfect wedding on Saturday, April 19th.
At Zeffert and Gold, we pride ourselves on helping to incorporate the bride and groom’s personalities throughout their wedding day. So, what did Beth and Brady’s do on their special day? For one, handcrafted signs that mapped where the bride and groom said “I Do,” to the reception area that solidified how the bride and groom said “I Did,” was a taste of the groom, who is a professional tattoo artist. Creative, artistic pieces were in abundance at this Chesapeake Bay waterfront wedding that was catered for more than 150 guests.
The couple’s love for spring blossomed throughout the entire wedding venue, as the couple had a rustic, self-serve lemonade and iced tea stand that guests were able to enjoy with a variety of mason jars.
Their love for sweets was bestowed upon their guests, as well, with a delicious candy bar that allowed the guests to pick their own decadent desserts to enjoy. A cherry blossom wedding cake with a cake-topper made out of Lego’s, was a playful display of the couple, and left their guests with a mouthful of spring.
Each wedding that we proudly serve is a unique testimony of the bride and groom’s love story. As this couple did, take inspiration from other weddings that we cater, and find ways to add creative touches to your wedding. Whether it is a self-serve dessert table, or a Lego cake topper; there are countless ways to make your day even more special. We wish Beth and Brady a lifetime of happiness together!
