What comes to mind when you hear a barn wedding? Rustic? Casual? Perhaps a backyard barbecue type of ambiance. Well, Tiffany and Justin’s Monkton, Maryland barn wedding completely transformed any preconceived notion of barn weddings. The string lights and eloquent decor complimented the beautiful barn with its stunning hardwood floors. The top two floors of the barn were used for the guest tables, with Tiffany and Justin’s table sitting on the patio with their family and bridal party. The barn was completely open, so even the guests on the balcony level were close to the bride and groom.
Tiffany and Justin embraced all of the features of the barn including the gorgeous wooden hanging bar, and the large stacks of hay, which they covered in linen. The back of the barn had the perfect cement patio, which was used for cocktail hour and then later for dancing. So many of the tables used for this Monkton, Maryland Barn wedding were stunning wooden pieces, which only added to this upscale, outdoor wedding. With plenty to eat and drink, the guests enjoyed the live band on the patio, under the stars, on a perfect summer night.
For this Monkton, Maryland barn wedding, we served sweet and sour meatballs, Maryland crab dip, fresh fruit and assorted cheeses for appetizers. For the main course, we served fresh Roseda Beef, Teriyaki Salmon with caramelized onions and spinach, Julienne of Zucchini, Yellow Squash and Carrot and Triple Roast of Yukon Gold, Red Bliss, and Sweet Potatoes. For dessert, Tiffany and Justin had a delicious wedding cake for their guests to enjoy. We served the cake directly to the guests on the dance floor, so they wouldn’t have to miss a song!
Congratulations to Tiffany and Justin. We had an amazing time catering your Monkton, Maryland Barn wedding!
