Gone are the days where there is one standard menu for every wedding. At Zeffert and Gold Catering, we love communicating with our clients to design a menu that fits their unique vision for their special day. For Dana and Tom, designing a menu that accommodated their guest count and their venue was our goal for this Corradetti Glass Studio wedding.
Corradetti Glass Studio is a unique Baltimore venue that has ample parking for your guests, and accommodates having both the ceremony and reception in the same venue. Dana and Tom had their ceremony facing the gorgeous stoned wall backdrop. We used two of our wine barrels with flowers to decorate the alter stage. All of the gorgeous flowers from this wedding were done by Mobtown Florals. Dana and Tom had some seating for their guests during the ceremony, while others stood and watched the lovely couple say their, “I Do’s.”
After the ceremony was over, we flipped the room for cocktail hour and the reception. Dana and Tom used a combination of high top tables, and smaller round tables with seating to maximize their venue space. With this cocktail style reception setup, guests had ample room for eating, drinking and dancing!
During cocktail hour, we had a variety of stationary appetizers for Dana and Tom’s guests to enjoy. We had some Baltimore classics like our Maryland Crab Dip, and our Natty Boh Cheddar Cheese Fondue. To round out the appetizer table, we had a beautiful Antipasto Platter, and our Vegetarian Trio of Hummus, Babaganouch and Olive Tapenade.
After cocktail hour, it was time for the champagne toast and the first dances. Dana’s sister, Shannon, and Tom’s brother, Dave, gave beautiful toasts that made the day’s celebration at Corradetti Glass Studio even more perfect. Following the toasts and first dances, we passed a few more appetizers like our Pulled Barbecue Pork Slider and our Stuffed Mushroom Caps with sausage.
After the hors d’oeuvres, we opened a Pasta Bar to round out the menu for this Corradetti Glass Studio wedding. Guests enjoyed penne pasta and tricolor cheese tortellini with options of a vodka rose sauce, or a Shitake mushroom cream sauce. Garlic toast rounds and Caesar salad accompanied both types of pasta.
For the rest of the evening, guests got to dance, and eat delicious cupcakes from Starry Night bakery. It was a pleasure catering this Corradetti Glass Studio wedding. Congratulations to Dana and Tom!
