What do you get when you combine a teacher with a man who loves buffalo wings? You get the wedding that we had the pleasure of catering this past Saturday. Fred and Nicole tied the knot at the Mansion House at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. What an amazing and special place for a wedding! Guests were treated to a picturesque ceremony at the Zoo’s Lakeside Pavilion. They were then invited to the Mansion house where they were greeted by a penguin and a Flemish rabbit. Along with the Zoo’s animal ambassadors friends and family of the newlyweds were able to dine on delicious appetizers including shrimp cocktail shooters, smoked mozzarella topped marinated mushrooms, brie en brioche and of course buffalo wings among other things. During cocktail hour guests were happy to find out that their table assignment cards were actually Berger cookies! Fred and Nicole had an awesome entrance with their bridal party and then went right into their beautiful first dance. After four toasts and speeches from both fathers, it was time for the main course. Guests were able to enjoy their choice of marinated prime rib, all Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes or Parmesan crusted chicken topped with a basil beurre blanc. After the meal everyone wasted no time getting on the dance floor and enjoying the rest of the night. We wish Fred and Nicole a lifetime of happyness and thank them for letting us be a part of their awesome Baltimore wedding!
