Yesterday, Zeffert and Gold’s Chef Daniel Elardo took advantage of his early summer day off and walked to some of his favorite spots which he frequents this time of the year to reap the reward of the summer sun and rain; perfectly ripe blackberries. Chef Daniel wanted us to share with you that the combination of last week’s heat, and the accompanying rains we have had have helped to make now the perfect time to pick wild blackberries. If you know of a spot where these delectable berries grow, take advantage of one of the pleasant things that the summer produces, sweet Maryland blackberries.
