Last week we had the pleasure of catering the Baltimore Event Site Managers luncheon at Irvine Nature Center. This catered corporate event was a fantastic way to connect local venue managers and caterers within Baltimore, Maryland. We are so fortunate to work with so many great site managers, including at Irvine Nature Center. If you are not familiar with this venue, it is an incredible facility in Owings Mills surrounded by 1,200 acres of land held in conservation easement. While there are many features to love at Irvine Nature Center, we adore that it is a green facility and they promote eco-friendly weddings and events. Zeffert and Gold Catering is committed to sustainable and green practices. By taking green initiatives like composting all food scraps and coffee grounds, donating leftover foods to a local food bank, and using compostable or recyclable paper goods like our palm leaf disposable items, we are able to reduce our environmental footprint.  Our partnership with Irvine Nature Center only further enhances our commitment to sustainable practices.

This corporate luncheon was a fun and fantastic networking opportunity for everyone that attended. The menu for this catered luncheon included our breast of chicken on avocado puree topped with a corn and tomato relish. Being a Baltimore caterer, we of course had to include a Maryland seafood option. We served our Baltimore Seafood Creole, which includes a seafood trio of crab, scallops and shrimp.  House cured and smoked salmon with our lime and cilantro quinoa was served as well. The meal was topped off with an assortment of macaroons and our strawberry basil lemonade.
