On Saturday June 15th, Zeffert and Gold was fortunate enough to participate in the wedding of Greta and Dan at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, MD. The entire day was planned beautifully and topped off with a black tie affair. Guests entered the Grand Lodge and were greeted with Greta and Dan’s signature Orange Mojito cocktail. Passed hors d’oeuvres included root beer barbecue pork sliders, sirloin wrapped asparagus, cherry tomato mozzarella basil skewers, Asian tuna spoons with a wasabi cream sauce, and shrimp tostada’s topped with mango salsa.

Upon entering the reception area, elegant accents of soft neutral hues lined the tables and decorated the space nicely. The gorgeous couple were introduced and immediately danced their first dance to Billy Joel’s Just the Way You Are. Washington Talent brought the energy with the band, Onyx who completely heightened the mood and presence on the dance floor. Onyx had an amazing way of getting guests of all ages to the dance floor, and keeping them there all night!

Dinner was served shortly after, which was a dual plate with Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes with a spicy cocktail sauce, paired with sliced and fanned seasoned tenderloin of beef with a Cabernet sauce. Accompaniments of haricot verts steamed with butter and roasted crisp fingerling potatoes were served as well. It was not long after that the crowd joined the happy bride and groom on the dance floor where classic favorites and upbeat party songs were played all night.

The wedding went off without a hitch while everyone left after a wonderful night of celebration and love. The event was decorated by Elizabeth Bailey Weddings, catered by Zeffert and Gold Catering and photographed by Kelly Burns Photography.
