This past Friday, Zeffert and Gold had the pleasure of working with Jen and Chris to create with the wedding of their dreams at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. It looked like the weather may interfere with their outdoor ceremony plans, but just as we thought, the rain cleared up in time for guests to watch Jen walk down the aisle overlooking the Baltimore Harbor. It was a picturesque background that complimented the couple’s Maryland roots nicely. Guests dined on buffalo chicken wontons, bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp tostadas with a mango chutney for appetizers, then a dinner course of “10 hour” flank steak, Argentinian roast chicken, seasonal roasted vegetables and duck fat fries with rosemary, garlic and Parmesan-the couple’s favorite. Guests walked down to the water for pictures of the beautiful Baltimore backdrop, then just before the party ended, a pirate ship sailed up to congratulate the happy couple. Guests left with two pencils tied together with a bow that said, “Thank you for sharing our lovely day” to represent the couple’s teaching profession. Jen and Chris danced the night away and were surrounded by close family and friends who sent them on their way at the end of the night. Thank you Jen and Chris for letting the Zeffert and Gold team be a part of your special day, and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
