It was beautiful weather for catering Melisa and Mike’s Historic London Town wedding this past Friday, September 26th. Melisa and Mike had a nautical themed wedding that fit perfectly with their waterfront venue at Historic London Town and Gardens. The guest tables were covered in light blue linens and navy blue napkins. There was a starfish placed on each guest’s napkins. Not only that, but the wedding place cards were made from sand dollars. Melisa and Mike utilized their colors and theme so tastefully for their London Town wedding! The combination of blues at the guest tables looked spectacular under the white wedding tent. Plus, the guests had an unforgettable view of the South River in Annapolis the whole night. Their wedding centerpieces included a vintage lantern with a tall white candle and seashells and rocks spread around the lantern.
There were so many personal touches to this wedding too like the “engagement wine.” Mike and Melisa chose the Ingleside Cabernet Sauvignon and the Blue Crab White to serve at the wedding reception because they were the two bottles of wine Mike and Melisa shared the night Mike proposed to Melisa. What a great wedding idea! Mike and Melisa had a special signature cocktail at their Historic London Town Wedding that they created for their guest too. They even made chalkboard wedding signs that added a sincere touch. We were a softy for their quotes like, “They have found their Happily Ever After with each other and wish the same for all of you!”
The menu we designed for this Historic London Town Wedding included our parmesan crusted chicken with basil buerre blanc and sliced filet mignon with a Cabernet Sauce. Melisa and Mike had a four-tier wedding cake that was topped with two miniature adirondack chairs and had seashells and starfish flowing down the front of the cake. You have to check out these photos to see this beautiful this Historic London Town Wedding. Congratulations to Melisa and Mike!
