When searching for a venue, it can be helpful to make a list of “must-haves” to help narrow down between options. If being dock side for your big day is on your list, then Historic London Town & Gardens may be the perfect venue for your Annapolis waterfront wedding.

Krista and Eric chose this beautiful waterfront wedding venue for their special day this past September. The weather was absolutely perfect, which allowed for the most serene wedding photos alongside the South River in Annapolis, Maryland. Whether your wedding guests are local, or if they are traveling from afar; everyone will enjoy the picturesque waterfront background.

Krista and Eric decided to have a seated service wedding reception, with cocktail hour taking place in London Town’s beautiful garden area. Under the beautiful oak tree, we had an outdoor bar setup, of which the couple was able to provide the alcohol. We also had stationary appetizers including hot Maryland crab dip, roasted vegetable bruschetta, olive Muffaletta bruschetta, tomato bruschetta, Charcuterie board, and sweet and sour cocktail meatballs.

We also offered a variety of passed appetizers including miniature bang bang shrimp tacos, petit crab cakes, marinated portobello mushrooms with smoked mozzarella on pita wedges, scallops wrapped with bacon served with barbecue sauce, and an Asian Spoon of seared tuna, Asian slaw, avocado and wasabi sauce.

After cocktail hour, guests were invited into the beautiful wedding tent, where the guest tables were set for the evening. The crisp white table linens accented with light pink napkins added a sweet touch of color to the waterfront wedding tent. All of the wedding decor, including the white lanterns and mercury votive candle holders, was provided by 2Hands Studio.

For the main course, we served a field greens salad with dried cranberries, toasted almonds, crumbled feta cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. Guests had the option of peppercorn tenderloin of beef served with port wine sauce, or a boneless breast of Parmesan crusted chicken with basil beurre blanc for their main entree. We accompanied both entrees with Yukon gold mashed potatoes with smoked Gouda cheese, and julienne vegetables of zucchini, yellow squash, carrot and red pepper.

For dessert, Cakes by Rachael provided a gorgeous wedding dessert arrangement of cupcakes and a small ceremonial wedding cake. The wedding dessert table was located inside, which was conveniently right next to the dance floor. Making it perfectly convenient to access for the remainder of the evening.

We had such a fun time catering Krista and Eric’s London Town wedding. We can’t wait for all of our 2016 Annapolis Waterfront weddings to take place this year!
