Anyone who says a wedding can’t take place on a weekday, clearly has never planned a wedding with a couple like Jasmine and Shon. We had the pleasure of catering their Corradetti Glass Studio wedding last night, as the perfect starter for our weekend full of weddings.

With guests flying in from all over the country, Jasmine and Shon chose to have an intimate wedding ceremony at a beautiful glass blowing studio in Baltimore. Their ceremony took place on Corradetti’s stage that is filled with colorful glass blown sculptures and art pieces that truly make for a one of a kind wedding backdrop. Between the studio’s kilns warming the venue, the breathtaking lights strung from the ceiling and the warmth from the couple’s closest family and friends who came for their big day; this was an unforgettable Thursday evening February wedding.

After the beautiful couple said their, “I Do’s,” guests congratulated the couple and took advantage of the beautiful venue for many family photos. Coincidentally, National Drink Wine day just happened to fall on two wine loving brides’ special day. Their guests were in luck with an assortment of red and white wines, plus champagne to enjoy and stay warm for this winter wedding. Not to mention the wedding favors for their guests were adorable mini-Prosecco bottles.

The menu was a bit nontraditional, which worked perfectly for their guests, who were constantly mingling. With light stationary appetizers of hot Maryland crab dip, and a beautiful antipasto platter filled with marinated olives, artichoke hearts, Provolone cheese drizzled with balsamic glaze, Genoa Salami, pepperoncini, marinated mushrooms and roasted red peppers. After guests found their seats, we offered an assortment of small bites including coconut shrimp tostada with mango salsa and jerk chicken skewers with pineapple curry sauce. Finally ending with the third course of miniature bang bang shrimp tacos, sirloin wrapped asparagus, and caprese bruschetta.

After a beautiful toast from the maid of honors, guests proceeded to dance and enjoy tasty desserts provided by Flavor Cupcakery and Bake Shop. Many guests were staying in town a few more days to continue celebrating Jasmine and Shon. In the very near future, the lovely couple is taking a wonderful tropical honeymoon together. Congratulations to this wonderful couple. We are so happy we were a part of your Corradetti Glass Studio wedding.
